Some people attend a church for years and still feel lonely and disconnected. Paul wrote to the churches and said, “You must learn to be considerate of one another, cultivating a life in common.” (1 Corinthians 1:10, MSG). So community (living life in common with one another) is something that we must learn to do. For community to succeed we must pursue it intentionally.
The seniors of our church are enjoying a senior luncheon that is planned each year by Jack Nunemacher. Steve lindsey is the speaker this year.
We are to be witnesses. But not only of what happened, but also of what is happening today. We are to pay attention and notice what Jesus is doing in the midst of our world. And we do that by stopping, resting and praying.
